Junior cricket coaching for all ages and skill levels

Love-Cricket junior cricket coaching courses run in 10 week blocks throughout the Winter, starting September to December and continuing after Christmas from January to March. Sessions take place indoors at school sports facilities in the York & Harrogate area. Courses are divided into groups, to cater for different ages and skill levels.

Beginners

For boys and girls who are complete newcomers to the sport but with an appetite to learn the game. Designed to enhance their cricketing skills and prepare players for participation in incrediball environments.

Under 9/11’s Academy – York & Harrogate

For boys and girls with up to 3 years cricketing experience. Designed to enhance their cricketing skills for participation in both incrediball and hard ball environments.

Under 13/15’S Academy – York & Harrogate

With a keen focus on enhancing each players technical, tactical, mental and physical development using net practice and coaching drills, this course is the ideal preparation for boys and girls playing competitive hardball cricket.

ELITE Development Academy – York only

Aimed at children from 11 to 15 playing or aspiring to play representative cricket, this course offers more intensive coaching and training in smaller groups (maximum 6 per coach) using video analysis to enhance technique over a 10 week period and is strictly limited on places. Over the last few years of coaching we are proud of our boys and girls from the course who have gone on to represent Yorkshire County Age Groups, North Yorkshire and a range of representative teams in York and surrounding areas.

Girls Only ELITE Development Academy – York only

Aimed at girls from 11 to 19 playing or aspiring to play representative cricket, this course offers more intensive coaching and training in smaller groups (maximum 6 per coach) using video analysis to enhance technique over a 10 week period and is strictly limited on places. Please note that all girls should have experience of playung hard ball cricket.
